Sedaro is hiring a Lead Modeling & Simulation Engineer to build the high fidelity simulation software that powers our cutting-edge simulation platform and help transform how aerospace technology is built.

What You'll Do
As a Lead Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you will be a hands-on individual contributor focused on expanding our platform's simulation capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Taking ownership of technical projects and driving development.
  • Developing high-fidelity simulation software and analysis tools for a diverse range of complex systems and validating these models against real-world data.
  • Configuring and executing large-scale multi-simulation studies that leverage cloud compute resources for uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
  • Performing code review for peers and providing technical feedback and suggestions to other engineering teams to drive platform improvement.
  • Supporting contract meetings with technical input and demonstrations to external stakeholders.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of applicable engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in physics, applied math, engineering, or similar
  • Proficiency writing software to model complex physical systems
  • Experience with git, automated testing, and related software development tools & practices
  • Experience validating simulation models against real-world data
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization
  • Able to obtain a TS security clearance
