Job description

Marine Electrical Technician

We are a 5-star rated marine service company seeking a highly skilled and professional Marine Electrical Technician to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering clean, precise installations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, service, and maintain marine electrical systems
  • Perform new installations, upgrades, and repairs of marine electronics and accessories, including:
    • Airmar, Furuno, Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, JL Audio, Thrusters, Underwater Lighting systems, and related marine equipment
  • Install, test, adjust, and troubleshoot motors, components, and safety switches (12V/24V DC and 115V/220V AC systems)
  • Work with single-phase and three-phase power systems
  • Service systems operating at 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies
  • Perform work on high-voltage power conversion systems
  • Accurately read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams
  • Maintain detailed daily service reports including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for follow-up service or repairs
  • Coordinate effectively with management and team members
  • Deliver superior customer service and maintain strong client communication
