Title: AWS Developer - EAD or GC or USC ONLY

Location: Reston, VA

Duration: 6+ months


Job Description:
In-depth knowledge and hands on development experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle, PL/SQL, Postgress, Rest API's, Microservices
Picking the right AWS services for the application, Leveraging AWS SDKs to interact with AWS services from the application, Set up the AWS SDK and developer credentials for Java, Python, and JavaScript.
Writing code that optimizes performance of AWS services used by the application
Use Web Identity Framework, ADFS, SAML and Amazon Cognito for user authentication.
Code-level application security (IAM roles, credentials, encryption, etc.), Use AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for service authentication.
Integrate applications and data by using Amazon Step Functions, Amazon Container Service ECS, Amazon Kinesis, AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), and Amazon Simple Workflow Service (Amazon SWF).
Deploy applications by using AWS Elastic Beanstalk and AWS CloudFormation.
Experience with developing and maintaining applications written for Amazon Step function, Amazon Lambda, Amazon RDS- Postgress, Amazon ECS, Amazon Simple Storage Service, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Simple Queue Service, Amazon Simple Notification Service, Amazon Simple Workflow Service, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and AWS CloudFormation.
Use Amazon ElastiCache and Amazon CloudFront to improve application scalability.
Experience integrating Jenkins with the code pipeline and CI/CD with AWS

Requirements
Must have at least 8 years of hands-on Java/J2EE/Oracle development experience
Must have at least 1+ years of hands on AWS development experience
AWS Developer Certification is a must
AWS Dev Ops Certificate is desired
AWS Solution Architect Certification is desired
