Regional Personal Risk Select Practice Leader

The Regional Personal Risk Select Practice Leader is a key leadership position responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing Personal Risk team. In this role, you will focus on strategic talent acquisition, comprehensive onboarding, and impactful training initiatives to ensure new team members are fully prepared to deliver exceptional Personal Risk Services.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the internal recruiting team to source, screen, hire, and onboard new producers and brokers.
  • Learn and lead USI's proprietary One Advantage Platform, including:
    • Omni: Proprietary, real-time, interactive intranet-based client solutions.
    • Network: Vast, experienced local resources networked nationally.
    • Enterprise: Combining Omni solutions with the Network for comprehensive results.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to Personal Risk producers and staff to generate revenue and meet sales goals.
  • Drive behaviors to ensure Personal Risk producers are working to meet revenue growth targets, including prospecting, generating first appointments, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Partner with the marketing team to place new Personal Risk insurance and manage relationships with carrier partners.
  • Foster collaboration across practices to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
  • Run huddle meetings to prepare for new business appointments.
  • Accompany producers on new business appointments.
  • Work with the CRM team to support prospecting efforts and ensure producers maintain pipelines with high-quality leads.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers.

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Simple Net New (SNN): New business exceeds lost business.
  • Direct contribution margins (controllable within the practice).
  • Organic revenue growth.
  • Execution of USI One Advantage.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and promotion of team to PRS Producer role.
  • Execution of best practices (Huddles, Sales Activation, Hiring).

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in personal risk or personal lines brokerage sales.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Appropriate insurance licensing required.
  • Insurance designations such as CPRIA, CISR, CIC, or similar highly preferred.
  • Proven track record for meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Motivational and collaborative leadership style with a passion to help others achieve sales goals.
  • Consultative, solutions-based selling approach.
  • Executive presence with polished and well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cross-selling strategies and proactive sales management.
  • Ability to sell value through coverage and services rather than price.
