Job description

Job Summary

Hydrapak Seals is seeking a Waterjet and Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and maintain punch presses and CNC waterjet cutting systems(will train on-site) to produce high-precision gaskets and sealing components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mechanical punch presses and CNC waterjet cutting machinery.
  • Set up tooling, nesting programs, and material feeds for production runs.
  • Read blueprints, CAD layouts, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Select and prepare raw materials like rubber, silicone, PTFE, and metals.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges for quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on waterjet nozzles, intensifier pumps, and press dies.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1+ year operating industrial punch presses.
  • Technical: Ability to read blueprints and input parameters into CNC software.
  • Precision: Proficient with precision measuring tools and quality control checks.
  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
