Job description

The Signal Maintainer is responsible for the upkeep and functionality of railway signaling systems, ensuring safety and operational compliance. This role primarily involves independent work, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and system testing at local sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection on railway signals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve signal malfunctions promptly
  • Ensure all safety protocols and compliance standards are met
  • Inspect equipment and conduct thorough system testing
  • Coordinate repairs with relevant teams and document all service activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in signal maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License for local site visits
  • Knowledge of electrical and signal systems
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with safety procedures related to railway signals
