What is a Signal AI analyst?

A Signal AI Analyst is a professional who uses artificial intelligence tools and platforms, such as Signal AI, to monitor, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of data from news, social media, and other sources. Their main responsibility is to identify meaningful trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact a business or organization. By leveraging AI-powered insights, they help companies make informed decisions, manage reputational risks, and stay ahead of industry developments. Signal AI Analysts often work in communications, risk management, or business intelligence teams.

How does a Signal AI specialist collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights?

Signal AI specialists frequently work alongside data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate raw data into strategic business intelligence. They are responsible for gathering and interpreting large volumes of unstructured data, often using machine learning tools and natural language processing to surface relevant signals. Regular communication and collaboration are key, as insights must align with business goals and be easily understood by non-technical teams. This cross-functional nature of the role fosters a dynamic work environment and provides opportunities to influence decision-making across the organization.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Signal AI analyst?

To thrive as a Signal Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and typically a background in communications, cybersecurity, or a related field. Familiarity with signal processing software, spectrum analyzers, and encryption/decryption tools is often required, along with relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities help signal analysts excel in interpreting complex data and collaborating on intelligence tasks. These competencies are crucial for accurately identifying, assessing, and responding to communication signals in security and intelligence operations.

Job description

At Signal AI, we use cutting-edge AI technology to offer clarity on decisions that shape businesses and society. We value restless curiosity, creative thinking, and diverse perspectives as we strive to become AI-native. We believe that AI is a collaborator, not just a tool, and we invite passionate individuals to join us on our journey as we continue to learn, experiment, and grow together.

About the role - Whatโ€™s your role?

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be an individual contributor responsible for building your own pipeline by engaging intelligently with Senior Communications professionals to educate them on how Artificial Intelligence can change the way they make reputation and risk-based decisions.

Weโ€™re looking for a strategic seller who can understand and add value when presenting data to our customers. Someone with a โ€˜hunterโ€™ mentality - who is hard-working and has exemplary attention to detail. You will not only sell our core Reputation products but also be tasked with leading our efforts to diversify the products our clients purchase from Signal AI, and leading our initiative around our Risk proposition.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities - What you will be doing?
  • Lead, own, hunt, develop and close global deals across Enterprise clients.

  • Use multi-channel prospecting, including cold calling, emailing and social selling.

  • Work collaboratively with our Sales and Customer Success representatives across the UK and HK to secure new logos and expand current accounts.

  • Display thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services that Signal can provide, and of our competitors.

  • Lead opportunities for new logos and current clients

Who are we looking for?
  • A minimum of 7 years in enterprise selling, with a strong background in consultative selling

  • A proven track record of leading, hunting and developing relationships with C-suite executives at global enterprise clients.

  • A history of consistently negotiating and closing 6-figure relationships with enterprise clients.

  • An entrepreneurial individual who will take ownership of their book of business and be independently resourceful

  • An ability to sell multiple products into multiple departments

  • In addition to net new logos, experience cross-selling into current customers, and growing accounts across multiple stakeholders

Not sure you meet every requirement?

Studies show that women and other underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they check every box. At Signal AI, diverse perspectives strengthen our teams, drive innovation, and lead to better performance. So even if your background doesnโ€™t align perfectly with each qualification, we encourage you to apply if youโ€™re passionate about this role.

We're dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every Signaller feels welcomed, valued, and heardโ€”a place where you can truly thrive as yourself.
