Job description

Job Title: Electrical Project ManagerJob Description

Join a dynamic team tasked with overseeing the electrical scope of a large-scale semiconductor project in Boise, Idaho. The project will be conducted in phases with work expected to continue through 2027. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the cleanroom building envelope and telecommunications initiatives within this project. The role requires autonomy and adaptability, operating under a Sell/Estimate/Manage model.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and closure.
  • Provide detailed monthly project status and percent completion reports.
  • Conduct detailed take-off and estimating for electrical services, tenant improvements, light commercial, and industrial work.
  • Market and build profitable jobs.
  • Make crucial decisions regarding project cost, time, and performance.
  • Cross-sell other company operations through integrated solutions.
  • Interface effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal operations.
  • Coordinate and direct the workforce to achieve project objectives.
  • Support an injury-free work environment and foster a strong safety culture.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects with budgets between $10-50 million, including full budget responsibility.
  • Direct experience in electrical construction, with telecom or cleanroom building envelope experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling execution, job cost tracking, and closure.
  • Expertise in estimating and writing scope proposals.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in low voltage, telecom, change orders, RFIs, submittals, scope development, and bidding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 5 years of construction project experience in the regional market with a proven track record of successful relationships and marketing skills.
  • Experience with design/build projects is preferred.
  • Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts.
  • Experience writing detailed scope proposals.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and estimating software (ConEst is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Work Environment

This position is based in Boise, Idaho, overseeing a phased semiconductor project expected to last through 2027. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and requires on-site presence to manage cleanroom and telecommunications responsibilities.
