Job description

We are Indeed Flex. We Help People Get Jobs. Right now, we're hiring!
We are a tech-first staffing platform that gives workers the freedom to choose their own shifts and businesses the power to hire with a click. We are removing the friction from the traditional agency model and replacing it with speed, transparency, and choice.
We operate with the agility and energy of a high-growth scale-up, but we are backed by the stability and resources of Indeed - the world's #1 job site. This gives us a unique advantage: the freedom to innovate at speed, with the muscle to dominate the market.
The Role
The National Sales Manager leads and develops Indeed Flex's National Accounts team across the Industrial and Hospitality sectors, and personally owns the senior relationships across our most important corporate accounts.
This is a player-coach role. You will coach a team of three to four National Account Executives to win and grow national and multi-site workforce partnerships, and you will personally act as the Account Director on our key corporate accounts. On those accounts you own the senior stakeholder relationships once the contract is signed, and you drive their long-term growth.
You will be measured on two things: how your team performs, and the growth you deliver personally across the corporate accounts and relationships you own.
This position is located onsite in Austin, TX (at The Domain), five days per week, with the option to work from home on Thursdays.
What you'll need
  • 5+ years in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or workforce solutions
  • 2+ years leading a sales or account management team
  • A track record of coaching teams through complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Confidence and credibility with senior decision-makers
  • Experience managing multi-site, regional, or national customer relationships
  • Strong commercial judgement, including margin awareness and forecasting discipline
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, changing business
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • High-level of technical acumen and proficiency to learn and utilize new software and technologies quickly to continuously evolve and improve our tech-driven advantage
  • High-level of analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong drive to investigate, analyze, and resolve simple and complex problems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet conflicting deadlines with minimal direct supervision
  • Highly proficient with utilizing several tools to enable real-time collaboration with a globally distributed workforce such as Miro, Salesforce, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc
  • A commitment to driving the Indeed Flex mission: to help people get jobs, instantly

Nice to haves:
  • Background in staffing, workforce solutions, MSP, VMS, RPO, HR technology or SAAS solutions.
  • Experience with Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Hospitality clients
  • Experience leading enterprise or national account sales teams
  • A history of growing national accounts after the first contract is signed, which is the part of this role that matters most.

What you'll be doing
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the position.
Lead and Coach the Team
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Account Executives and Senior Expansion Executives
  • Build a culture of accountability and strong customer outcomes
  • Run a regular rhythm of pipeline reviews, forecast reviews, and deal coaching
  • Own hiring, onboarding, and the ongoing development of the team

Drive National Contract Acquisition
  • Coach the team to find, qualify, and close national and multi-site deals
  • Guide them through complex buying groups across Procurement, HR, Operations, and Finance
  • Support commercial negotiations and contract terms that hold up as accounts grow
  • Confirm every deal is profitable and deliverable before it closes

Own Senior Corporate Relationships (Account Director)
  • Act as the Account Director on key corporate accounts, owning the senior stakeholder relationships once the contract is signed
  • Manage relationships across Procurement, HR, Operations, Finance, and the C-suite
  • Lead executive business reviews and strategic account planning on the accounts you hold
  • Drive retention, growth, and expansion across your corporate accounts

Expansion & Rollout
  • Turn first-site wins into multi-site, multi-market growth across the accounts you hold and the team's
  • Decide which locations and markets to open, and in what order
  • Confirm each site is ready before it goes live, so launches hold up
  • Clear the blockers that slow growth down

Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Work closely with National AEs on correct deal classification (National vs MSP), Growth on retention and post-launch growth, Inside Sales on activation, and Operations and Recruitment on delivery
  • Make sure every handoff carries the full account context and rollout plan
  • Plan ahead so problems get caught early, not after a site has launched

What you'll get
  • $125,000 to $150,000 annual salary
  • OTB: $75,000
  • OTE: $200,000 - $225,000
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K
  • Access to Company & Employee Benefits
  • 25 days PTO (prorated) + Birthday Off
  • 8 Paid Holidays
  • Duvet days (½ day off every quarter)
  • Volunteer days
