Position Summary
Duval Sign Solutions is a growing, full-service commercial sign company specializing in the design, permitting, fabrication, installation, and repair of interior and exterior signage. We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who enjoys creating professional signage while working closely with customers, project managers, and production staff.ย  MUST WORK AT OFFICE (NO REMOTE).
This is a hands-on position where you'll help transform ideas into high-quality signs that enhance businesses throughout Northeast Florida.
Responsibilities
  • ย Design a wide variety of commercial signage including:ย 
    • ย Monument signsย 
    • ย Channel lettersย 
    • ย ADA signageย 
    • ย Lobby signsย 
    • ย Wayfinding systemsย 
    • ย Wall graphicsย 
    • ย Window graphicsย 
    • ย Dimensional lettersย 
    • ย Vehicle graphics (simple lettering and decals)ย 
    • ย Banners and promotional signageย 
  • ย Prepare production-ready artwork using Adobe Creative Suite or Corel Draw
  • ย Create customer proofs and revise artwork based on feedback.ย 
  • ย Develop shop drawings and fabrication layouts.ย 
  • ย Produce permit drawings when required.ย 
  • ย Prepare CNC router files, print files, and vinyl cut files.ย 
  • ย Work with project managers to ensure projects remain on schedule.ย 
  • ย Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams regarding production requirements.ย 
  • ย Maintain organized electronic project files.ย 
  • ย Communicate professionally with customers regarding artwork revisions.ย 
  • ย Assist with occasional site surveys and field measurements.ย 
Qualifications
Required:
  • ย 2+ years of graphic design experienceย 
  • ย Proficiency with:ย 
    • ย Adobe Illustrator (expert) or Corel Draw
    • ย Adobe Photoshopย 
    • ย Adobe Acrobatย 
  • ย Excellent typography and layout skillsย 
  • ย Strong attention to detailย 
  • ย Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyย
