Position Summary
Duval Sign Solutions is a growing, full-service commercial sign company specializing in the design, permitting, fabrication, installation, and repair of interior and exterior signage. We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who enjoys creating professional signage while working closely with customers, project managers, and production staff.  MUST WORK AT OFFICE (NO REMOTE).
This is a hands-on position where you'll help transform ideas into high-quality signs that enhance businesses throughout Northeast Florida.
Responsibilities
  •  Design a wide variety of commercial signage including: 
    •  Monument signs 
    •  Channel letters 
    •  ADA signage 
    •  Lobby signs 
    •  Wayfinding systems 
    •  Wall graphics 
    •  Window graphics 
    •  Dimensional letters 
    •  Vehicle graphics (simple lettering and decals) 
    •  Banners and promotional signage 
  •  Prepare production-ready artwork using Adobe Creative Suite or Corel Draw
  •  Create customer proofs and revise artwork based on feedback. 
  •  Develop shop drawings and fabrication layouts. 
  •  Produce permit drawings when required. 
  •  Prepare CNC router files, print files, and vinyl cut files. 
  •  Work with project managers to ensure projects remain on schedule. 
  •  Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams regarding production requirements. 
  •  Maintain organized electronic project files. 
  •  Communicate professionally with customers regarding artwork revisions. 
  •  Assist with occasional site surveys and field measurements. 
Qualifications
Required:
  •  2+ years of graphic design experience 
  •  Proficiency with: 
    •  Adobe Illustrator (expert) or Corel Draw
    •  Adobe Photoshop 
    •  Adobe Acrobat 
  •  Excellent typography and layout skills 
  •  Strong attention to detail 
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  •  Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Valid driver's license 
Preferred:
  •  Experience designing commercial signage 
  •  Experience with SignTracker or other sign management software 
  •  Knowledge of large-format printing 
  •  Experience preparing vinyl cutting files 
  •  Experience with CNC routing 
  •  Knowledge of ADA signage requirements 
  •  Basic understanding of sign fabrication methods 
  •  Experience preparing permit drawings
