Job description

Amerhart is a Specialty Building Products Brand. Amerhart is currently hiring for a Production Assembler for our Sheboygan Falls facility. The primary responsibility of this position is to manually perform all duties associated with tasks (e.g., machine operating assembly). As a member of the Production team, offering to help others when the workload demands, treating teammates with respect and care and performing work in a safe manner according to safety policies and procedures is critical. This role has a variety of manual duties. The workload can change daily or by the hour.
Starting Pay Rate $22.50/hour
Shift hours: 7am-7pm on Monday - Thursdays, Fridays are optional for OT, unless needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate machinery to manufacture slatwall and products (e.g. lamination, panel saw, edge bander, CNC's, paint finisher.
  • Follow production orders and specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings for orders and trouble-shoot minor issues.
  • Create boxes and stage for orders.
  • Inspect products for defects throughout production process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • May be required to operate a forklift and complete daily forklift inspections.
  • Follow safety procedures and policies when performing production duties.
  • Clean work area daily.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a productive member of the team.
  • Ability to use basic technology (e.g., tablet) for production processes and communication.

  • 1-2 years' production experience preferred.
