Lemberg Electric is looking for a Commercial Sign Sales Representative to join our growing Signs Division. In this role, you'll develop new business opportunities, expand relationships with existing customers, and guide projects from the initial conversation through project award.

What You'll Do

As our Commercial Sign Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for developing new business while building long-term relationships with commercial customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and developing new commercial business opportunities
  • Building relationships with contractors, property managers, business owners, developers, architects, and other decision-makers
  • Meeting with customers to understand their signage needs and recommend solutions
  • Conducting site visits for new construction, renovations, retrofits, and service opportunities
  • Preparing and presenting proposals and quotations
  • Reviewing estimates for accuracy and profitability
  • Negotiating pricing and project scope
  • Managing opportunities throughout the entire sales process
  • Coordinating project handoffs with estimating, project management, and installation teams
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline and forecasting future opportunities
  • Representing Lemberg Electric at networking events, trade associations, and community functions
  • Delivering outstanding customer service before, during, and after project completion

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling commercial signs or related construction products
  • Experience in commercial construction or electrical contracting
  • Knowledge of sign products and installation processes
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
