We are looking for an individual who have a passion for producing high quality and detailed work. The Digital Press Operator will enjoy following well-defined procedures that result in high-quality world-class products for Britten's customers. This person will thrive in a collaborative work environment while assisting with the efficient operations of the digital printing equipment.

  • Act as support staff to the Digital Manager
  • Operating high-speed digital printing equipment
  • Handling multiple types of substrates efficiently to avoid waste
  • Maintaining digital machine detailing and maintenance
  • Observing print quality to assure final pieces meet customer satisfaction
  • Adheres to all company safety standards

Requirements

  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task and work independently, and reflect a positive attitude towards challenging job requirements
  • Keen eye for quality of product and ability to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of Mac & PC operating system
  • Experience with solvent and latex ink printing and sign production software is recommended, but not required
  • Ability to work at a steady pace on a consistent and repetitive basis
  • Graphics production background is also a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to color detail is required
  • Physical ability to lift 70 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Physical Demands and Work Environment
