We're looking for a Service Technician Apprentice who is ready to learn the trade and be a part of a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. You'll train alongside experienced techs who will teach you how to install tanks safely, troubleshoot equipment, and handle service calls with confidence. When you finish the program, you'll be ready to move into a full Service Technician role, and we'll help you get the licenses and endorsements you need at no cost to you!* No CDL is required for this position.

  • Under direct supervision, assist in installations, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
  • Develops knowledge and trains on how to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
  • Assists in inspecting vehicles and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
  • Under direct supervision, assists in preparing and maintaining records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
  • Under direct supervision, during daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires.
  • Will be required to train with team members who are working on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed.
  • Once qualified, may be required to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or “On Call” rotation
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Under direct supervision, may work on propane appliances when needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years related experience in maintenance or trade position.
  • Commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain Commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained
  • Good driving record
  • Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

* Employees will be required to sign and abide by our reimbursement agreement
