Installer Apprentice
Location: Atlanta, GA

Your Impact
As an Installer Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the construction, installation, and optimization of data center facilities. Working alongside experienced team members, you will assist with construction and installation activities while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient job site. This position provides an opportunity to develop valuable skills, contribute to successful project delivery, and build a long-term career in the construction industry.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Assist with construction, assembly, and installation of building components, structures, and site logistics.
  • Support the installation of data center infrastructure, including racks, caging, floor structures, containment systems, cabling pathways, and related components under supervision.
  • Carry, load, unload, and move materials, tools, equipment, and products throughout the job site.
  • Support field crews with staging, preparation, material handling, and logistical tasks.
  • Perform general labor duties including demolition, cleanup, sweeping, debris removal, and maintaining organized work areas.
  • Help set up and maintain temporary workspaces, barriers, signage, and safety equipment.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, organizing, and staging project deliveries.
  • Read and follow basic work instructions, drawings, site plans, and supervisor directions.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and daily job site briefings.
  • Follow all company and job site safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a willingness to learn new skills and support multiple trades as needed.
  • Travel to project sites as required and work flexible schedules to support project milestones.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction, general labor, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced construction and data center environments.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and construction equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project locations, including extended travel assignments.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA-10, OSHA-30, or other construction-related certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Experience or certifications related to construction, metalworking, equipment installation, or material handling are a plus but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees must be able to hear, speak, and communicate effectively. Work occurs in data center environments with potential exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and varying temperatures. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required. Physical requirements include bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead. Must lift at least 50 lbs, raise arms above shoulder level, perform overhead work for extended periods, climb and carry ladders up to 12 feet, work at heights up to 90 feet, access restricted areas, and wear full PPE. Good vision and hearing and accurate color identification are required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
