Millennium Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join our growing practice at Sierra Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, physician-led team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based neonatal care.

Our network of physicians and specialists works together to provide a patient-centered model focused on supporting the health and well-being of newborns and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated provider who is passionate about neonatal medicine and committed to making a meaningful impact during the earliest stages of life.

Opportunity Highlights

This position is based in a 12-bed Level II NICU with plans to advance to Level III, supporting approximately 100 deliveries per month. The modern NICU facility operates under a collaborative two-physician care model with in-house NNP coverage, including coverage of the newborn nursery.

Responsibilities

The Neonatologist will provide comprehensive medical care to newborns in both Level II and Level III NICU settings, including premature and critically ill infants. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries and performing neonatal resuscitation as indicated, diagnosing and managing a broad range of neonatal conditions, and performing neonatal procedures within scope of practice. The provider will collaborate closely with NNPs, pediatricians, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members, communicate effectively with families regarding clinical status and treatment plans, maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in shared call coverage and team-based responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and demonstrate strong clinical expertise in NICU care. Candidates should thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment, possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based neonatal medicine.
