Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Buyer, you will manage purchase requisitions and procurement activities to ensure material availability and support business and production requirements. You will work closely with suppliers to resolve commercial and purchase order issues while supporting sourcing initiatives through quotation requests, negotiations, and supplier development. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, planning, quality, and operations teams to respond to changing business priorities and maintain a reliable supply chain. Your day will involve balancing operational needs, supplier relationships, and continuous process improvement to drive procurement excellence.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage a portfolio of purchase requisitions and ensure purchase orders are issued accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, engineering, quality, planning, and operations teams to support business requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage supplier relationships, prepare RFQs, conduct bidding processes, negotiate commercial terms, and support supplier onboarding activities.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes, and company systems to maintain operational efficiency and governance.
  • Support supplier management activities including qualification, evaluation, development, and performance monitoring.
  • Support and/or lead procurement business plan initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong SAP and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment.
