Tri-County Roofing & Gutters, a well-established company serving Valparaiso, IN, and the surrounding areas, is seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Siding and Roofing Repair Technician to repair work orders sold by our sales representatives, which can include all types of roof repairs, siding, soffit or fascia repairs, skylight installation, and more!
THE BASICS
With competitive pay ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, along with a 10% commission on additional work sold, we offer a rewarding career path.
This position also comes with generous benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance (employer contribution of 50%); life, AD&D, and short-term disability insurance; and 401K (up to 3% employer match).
Our work schedule revolves around regular business hours, from Monday to Friday. Occasionally, we may require working on Saturdays to accommodate finishing jobs or weather-related concerns. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SIDING AND ROOFING REPAIR TECHNICIAN:
As a Siding and Roofing Repair Technician, you'll be an essential part of our team, executing repairs with precision and ensuring our clients' roofs and siding are in top-notch condition. Your typical day involves completing repair work orders assigned by our sales representatives, which can encompass various roofing and siding repairs. Additionally, you'll be vigilant on the job, looking for any potential issues that might have been overlooked and recommending additional work when necessary. During installations, you'll diligently document the process with detailed photos and maintain accurate records of labor and materials used. You'll also handle service calls to diagnose and fix problems, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
TO EXCEL AS A SIDING AND ROOFING REPAIR TECHNICIAN, YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
  • 5+ years of roofing or siding repair experience
  • A valid Indiana driver's license
  • Ability to work on roofs at any slope, lift up to 70 lbs, and stand, squat, and bend, repeatedly throughout the day
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a pleasant manner
  • Ability to diagnose roof issues and pass all assessments satisfactorily
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed

A Roofing Master Craftsmen certification from CertainTeed would be a plus!
