What is a side hustle sales?

A Side Hustle Sales job involves selling products or services on a part-time or commission basis to generate extra income. It can include direct sales, affiliate marketing, or working as an independent sales representative. These roles offer flexibility, allowing you to work around your primary job or other commitments. Success depends on networking, marketing skills, and the ability to close deals. Many people use side hustle sales to supplement their income or transition into full-time entrepreneurship.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in side hustle sales?

To thrive in Side Hustle Sales, you need a strong grasp of sales fundamentals, self-motivation, and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, often without formal sales experience. Familiarity with CRM tools, social media platforms, and basic digital marketing systems will help streamline outreach and track leads. Exceptional communication, resilience, and time management skills are crucial soft skills for building rapport and managing your schedule independently. These competencies are essential for effectively driving your own sales success, often outside of traditional full-time roles.

What are the typical challenges faced in a side hustle sales role?

One of the main challenges in Side Hustle Sales is maintaining motivation and organization when working independently, as you often set your own goals and schedule. Balancing your side hustle with other responsibilities, such as a primary job or studies, can also require disciplined time management. Additionally, generating leads and closing deals without the support of a full-time sales team means you must be proactive and adaptable to changing market demands. However, this flexibility offers valuable experience and the potential for extra income, making it a rewarding opportunity for driven self-starters.

Who we're looking for

A well-connected, relationship-driven professional - coaches, teachers, athletic directors, or community leaders - who thrives on opening doors and closing deals. You'll be boots on the ground, building partnerships with schools, sports teams, programs, and community organizations in your area - on your schedule. Your focus is to prospect, connect, and close - then hand off to an Account Manager who handles everything after. No backend admin, no long-term account management. Just pure relationship-driven sales with people you likely already know. Perfect as a side hustle, a part-time gig, or a way to monetize the network you've already built.

What you'll do

  • Tap into your existing local network toidentifyand engage potential partners
  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and demos - when it works for you
  • Close new partnerships and hand off seamlessly to your Account Manager

What you bring

  • Current residency within the assigned territory (required- non-local applicants will not be considered)
  • Strong local community ties and existing relationships
  • Self-starter mentality with solid communication skills
  • Comfort in a 100% commission, performance-driven environment
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check, including driving record

What you'll earn

  • Uncapped commission - no ceiling on your earnings, no matter how many hours you put in

The details

  • Flexible contract (1099) - make your own schedule; designed to work as a side hustle or part-time gig
  • One-quarterinitialcommitment with opportunity to extend
  • No base salary, benefits, or paid leave
