WHAT IS THE JOB?
As the Manager in our Sid Mashburn Houston shop, you'll be responsible for leading a talented team to deliver a transformational retail experience. You will proudly represent Mashburn in the community, engaging with a variety of organizations and influencers to help connect them with the brand through events, outreach and more. You'll also use your expertise to help train and influence the team, and drive business decisions regarding merchandising, product placement, and sales strategy. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
  • Select, hire, train and retain an exceptional team of service all-stars
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the team to provide world-class service and experience to customers
  • Create a climate in which team members want to do their best
  • Own the total performance of the store's service, operation, and people
  • Serve the team to allow them to focus and deliver on goals, tasks, and other company initiatives
  • Role model the ability to relate well to all kinds of people
  • Oversee the strategic marketing of Mashburn in the community through events and more

WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIALS?
  • A proven leader with 5+ yeas of leadership experience; retail preferred
  • A track record of success in recruiting, selecting, coaching, and motivating a diverse team
  • A desire to take care of every person on your team so that they can take care of our customers
  • An overwhelming drive to deliver results and growth in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while still serving the mission every day
