Position Overview
My Place Hotel is seeking a reliable and service-focused Shuttle Driver to support our guests by providing safe, timely transportation and a welcoming first impression. This role plays an important part in the guest experience by ensuring smooth arrivals and departures while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and hospitality. If you enjoy driving, interacting with people, and representing a hotel, we encourage you to apply.
This role requires consistent attention to traffic laws, punctuality, and guest comfort. Drivers are expected to greet guests courteously, assist with luggage, and answer basic questions during transport to enhance the overall stay. In addition to driving duties, the Shuttle Driver is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the shuttle vehicle. This includes conducting routine inspections, identifying mechanical concerns, and promptly reporting maintenance needs to management. The position also requires the ability to remain calm and professional in changing traffic conditions or unexpected situations.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Candidates are subject to a motor vehicle record review in accordance with company policy, as driving is an essential function of this position
  • Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
  • Basic knowledge of local routes and the ability to navigate efficiently
