Job description

ESS Manufacturing LLC - Material Handler

Starting Pay - $19.50

At Expert Shutter Services, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch products to our customers, and our Material Handlers play a critical role in making that happen. As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for the careful handling, organizing, and movement of materials within our facility. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet production deadlines, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold our commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and Combilifts.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, using proven storage methods to maximize space and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to fulfill orders and maintain smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
  • Help the Inventory Manager count and track inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Forklift experience of at least a year and moving materials with extend lengths (up to or longer than 24 feet long)
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
