Service Technician– Commercial Overhead doors: Experienced and Trainee

Trainee - $50,000

Experienced – up to $65,000

We are looking for both Overhead door service technicians with experience as well as applicants who are looking to train on the job and become full door technicians. If you are interested in a skilled trade with long term employment potential, this could be it!
Ohio Commercial Door is one company with multiple divisions. Our Overhead door division includes the repair and replacement of Sections doors, Rolling Steel doors, Rolling grilles/shutters, Gates, High Speed doors and all the operators and hardware associated with these types of doors.
Position Details

Door service technicians get to be out in the world every day and see all different types of businesses and environments.  Experienced service technicians and service technician trainees ensure our customers receive quality service and positive experience. Within this role, the technicians and trainees have the ability to make suggestions and work with the quoting manager to ensure the customer is getting the best product for their needs or situation. 
Primary Duties

- Service, repair, and install, commercial overhead doors.
- Serve as the face to the customer, ensuring a positive interaction.
- Assist the quoting process by collecting accurate information regarding door and repair issues.
- Ensuring a safe work environment.
- Assist other team technicians as needed
- Completion of customer job tickets for accurate billing on an app on work iPad.
- Experienced technician will be provided a company van to be used during business hours or Emergencies 
-You will be responsible for keeping your work space clean, This includes your work van and the shop area if fabricating or doing work in the shop.   
Skills Required

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge of power and hand tools usage.
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- A pre-employment background check and drug test. 
Desired Skills

- Background in construction
- Experience with installation and repair of pedestrian doors and related door hardware a plus
