CLA is currently hiring for a Client Engagement Consultant for our Talent Solutions - HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) practice. This role is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with payroll implementation clients. They serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and providing appropriate solutions and support. They collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs, develop strategies, and deliver solutions that meet client objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead team members, clients, and internal stakeholders through the entire sales and implementation process, including inbound marketing opportunities, discovery meetings, client demonstrations, and system setup.

  • Manage new client activities as it relates to payroll implementation.

  • Oversee project handoff to payroll processing team.

  • Manage project timeline, ensuring that all milestones are met, and the implementation is completed on schedule.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation process.

  • Oversee detailed documentation of the implementation process and any customizations made to the system.

  • Continuously improve implementation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: 7 years payroll or HCMS experience required. ADP Workforce Now payroll experience is highly preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Certifications: CPP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

  • Technical Competencies: Strong understanding of HCM/payroll. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
