We're partnering with a well-established organization to hire a Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve the company's HR function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategy across talent, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development.

The right candidate will bring both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, with the ability to influence leadership while building scalable HR programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement company-wide HR policies, programs, and initiatives
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Partner with executive leadership on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and internal equity
  • Collaborate with finance leadership on payroll, budgeting, and benefits strategy
  • Oversee employee benefits programs including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Lead risk management efforts including workers' compensation, safety programs, and claims
  • Drive training, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain HR systems, reporting, and data integrity across HRIS platforms
  • Manage HR budget and provide recommendations on staffing and compensation

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
