Description
Our Sanitation Worker will complete the daily and master sanitation schedule for a warehouse environment. Fulfills the daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly sanitation schedule which includes:
  • Maintaining the warehouse spaces in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Cleaning and organizing bathrooms and break rooms.
  • Mopping floors, cleaning sinks, washing walls, and windows.
  • Removing trash and recycling from all areas daily including shredding.
  • Communicating immediately to the department manager, department leader, or other managers of any situation that may impact employee and/or product safety.
  • Performing inspections of pest control devices, logs, and notifying supervisor of any activity.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age and a High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least (1) year of warehouse cleaning experience or similar role
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Must be able to lift moderate weight (up to 50lbs at times), ability to continuously stand and walk for up to 8 hours, ability to bend, stoop, and squat down.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment with temperatures from 34 -55 degrees.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and/or drug screening.

The starting salary for this position is $17.00 per hour plus an additional $5.09 per hour in cash fringe benefits for a maximum hourly rate of up to $22.09.
