Description

The Secure Shred Driver will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of confidential containers and materials relevant to Secure Shred. He/she will maintain a quality of customer service satisfactory to our management on an ongoing basis.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick up materials and products as scheduled
  • Deliver clean totes/consoles to customers and place in their correct locations as scheduled
  • Maintain security of customer's information at all times
  • Load and unload trucks daily
  • Return completed records to the office daily
  • Provide excellent customer service 
  • Know and follow all safety precautions and legal requirements in driving and maintaining agency vehicles as well as equipment
  • Responsible for the safety and welfare of all passengers in the agency vehicle
  • Perform regular safety and maintenance checks
  • Ensure that regularly scheduled maintenance requirements are adhered to and the reporting of extraordinary repairs as needed
  • Run and maintain equipment as assigned
  • Pick up materials and oversee processing of document destruction
  • Perform shredding duties when necessary; including forklift driving and baling paper
  • All other duties as assigned by the manager or director


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points. 
  • Ability to remain focused in busy environment.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess valid For Hire license or CDL with a driving record acceptable to Opportunity Enterprises, Inc.'s insurance carrier. Must keep all Certificates, Licenses, Registrations current
  • Must have high school diploma/GED
