Job description

Join the Gateway Classic Cars Team

At Gateway Classic Cars, we help automotive enthusiasts buy and sell the collector cars they've always dreamed of owning. As the world's largest classic car sales company, our showrooms are home to thousands of classic, muscle, exotic, and specialty vehicles. Every day brings something different, and every vehicle has a story.

We're looking for a Showroom Office & Compliance Coordinator to help keep our showroom running smoothly. If you're organized, dependable, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in doing things the right way, we'd love to meet you.

Whether your background is in office management, automotive administration, title processing, operations, customer service, or dealership administration, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

About the Role

This is more than a traditional office position.

As the Showroom Office & Compliance Coordinator, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the showroom. You'll help ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate, transactions are completed correctly, customers receive excellent service, and the showroom stays organized and compliant with company and state requirements.

Some days you'll be processing title paperwork, helping a customer, coordinating vehicle documentation, preparing for an event, or working with the team to solve an unexpected challenge. No two days are exactly alike.

What You'll Do

Compliance & Documentation

  • Audit consignment and sales paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • Process title, registration, tax, and ownership documents.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records and monitor pending transactions.
  • Ensure company policies and state requirements are followed throughout the sales process.

Office Operations

  • Process invoices, payments, renewals, and other administrative transactions.
  • Maintain organized records using company software.
  • Coordinate office supplies, vendors, and daily administrative functions.
  • Assist with banking, reporting, inventory tracking, and other operational responsibilities.

Customer & Showroom Support

  • Welcome customers and provide professional customer service in person and over the phone.
  • Communicate with buyers, consignors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Help coordinate vehicle readiness, including documentation, photography, videos, and inventory organization.
  • Assist with showroom events, inventory audits, and special projects.

Team Support

  • Work closely with the Showroom Manager and team to keep daily operations running efficiently.
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the success of the showroom.
  • Occasionally assist with training or provide support to other showrooms when needed.

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy keeping things organized.
  • Catch details that others often miss.
  • Like solving problems and finding solutions.
  • Can balance multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Take pride in producing quality work.
  • Enjoy being part of a team where everyone works together to achieve a common goal.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Automotive Office Administrator, Title Clerk, or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Work around incredible collector vehicles every day.
  • Join an established company.
  • Be part of a team that values professionalism, collaboration, and customer service.
  • Every day offers new challenges, new vehicles, and new opportunities to learn.
  • Build a career with a company that is a recognized leader in the collector car industry.

Compensation

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with annual earnings of approximately $42,000, based on a full-time schedule.

Benefits

  • Medical Insurance
  • HSA Qualified Medical Plan
  • Dental Insurance
