Job description

The Opportunity:
Are you a creative, sales-oriented professional with a passion for luxury design and leadership? Kravet is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the daily operations of our new Miami Workspace Showroom.
The Kravet Workspace is not your traditional showroom. It is a streamlined, high-tech hub designed for the modern designer, featuring a smaller footprint, self-service sampling, and integrated technology for an effortless shopping experience. This is a unique, entrepreneurial opportunity for a self-starter to create and develop the Miami market from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Manage daily showroom operations and align people with organizational strategy to influence the success of the workspace.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities with high-potential designers and new accounts, conducting outreach to convert leads into business.
  • Collaborative Sales: Partner strategically with local outside sales teams to maximize potential across all product categories.
  • Operational Excellence: Support the monthly rollout of new merchandise, maintain back-office standards, and ensure a pristine showroom aesthetic.
  • Culture Building: Create a work culture that rewards teamwork and positive results; as business develops, you will help grow and lead the showroom team.
  • Digital Integration: Utilize Google Suite, video conferencing, and social media platforms to engage the design community and manage workflow.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a record of proven results. Managerial or assistant managerial experience is preferred.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in the interior design industry (Interior Design, Showroom Sales, or Designer Assistant) is required.
  • Education: A college degree, preferably in Interior Design, Business, or Marketing, is a plus.
  • Client Relationship Mastery: An established following within the local interior design community is highly preferred.
  • Dynamic Skill Set: Strong communication, organizational, and "tech-fluent" skills with an inherent ability to build long-term client trust.
  • Professional Demeanor: An outgoing, energetic, and positive personality with good color and design sensibility.

Why Kravet?
Joining Kravet means becoming part of a fifth-generation family-led business that is a global leader in the to-the-trade home furnishings industry. We offer a creative, collaborative environment where your high level of ownership and initiative is celebrated, and your career can grow alongside our iconic brands.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (No weekends).
Compensation: Kravet offers a competitive pay range based on experience, credentials, and expertise. Our comprehensive benefits include health & wellness insurance, 401(k) matching, generous PTO, and employee discounts.
Pay range: This role is estimated to pay between $78,500 - $83,500 annually. (This consists of an annual base salary of $70,000 to $75,000, plus a monthly showroom incentive based on sales)
This role is also eligible for quarterly and annual bonus based on showroom sales.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that Kravet believes, at the time of this posting, that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. Only where an external candidate has extensive experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would Kravet consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Company details:
Our brands include Kravet, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils, GP&J Baker and Donghia. Kravet is distributed across the country and the world through our networks of showrooms, sales representatives and distributors.
