From its 10 locations in Western and Northern Canada, Ketek is able to provide services and rental equipment to clients throughout the region's oil and gas, mining, construction, and municipal sectors.

POSITIONBACKGROUND:

The RentalCoordinator is responsible for providing the customer base with long- andshort-term rental equipment, from the original quote to final invoice. Worksclosely with rental sales representatives and customers, as well as currentproduct manufacturers and suppliers. The Rental Coordinator makes arrangementsfor the transportation of all rental equipment to customers, prepares quotesand completes rental contracts, and invoices customers. Builds strongrelationships with re-renters and suppliers, ensuring product availability ismanaged effectively and aligned with rental demand.

CORE DUTIES:

Daily Duties

  • Orders andtracks all rentals, re-rent, rent to purchase, purchases of cable anddistribution, generators, and any key components for rental orders input by therental sales representatives and rental managers; maintains close vigilance onany back order rentals for rental products or components.
  • Builds orenhances relationships with current re-renters and suppliers through regularcommunication that focuses on current and future demand for rental products andservices, as well as any changes in current organizational procedures orpolicies.
  • Assists rentalsales representatives in building customer relationships and enhancing demandfor company products and services by handling customer calls, addressingconcerns, and providing assistance in resolving issues.
  • Reviews allrental sales orders; opens and prepares necessary documentation andcommunicates to appropriate departments and staff regarding production/shippingdates.
  • Keeps all salesfiles current and ensures that all documentation associated with rental orders,including check-ins and outs, are included in the file; reviews all costsassociated with rental sales orders and communicates any anomalies to therental sales representatives or immediate manager.
  • Works closelywith local management team to review issues and opportunities relating torental coordination policies and procedures.
  • Communicatesrental order requirements to all internal departments and ensures eachdepartment has the necessary documentation to process the rental order,including work orders, parts pick lists, and product allocation.
  • Stays current onany product or service changes that could impact rental rates pricing,availability, or products suitability; communicates any changes to rental salesrepresentatives and/or appropriate internal departments.

QUALIFICATIONSAND SKILLS:

Required

  • Post-secondaryeducation and/or relevant work experience.
  • Solid writtencommunication skills with the ability to compose internal reports andpresentations.
  • Advanced verbalcommunication skills with the ability to conduct presentations, negotiate withexternal stakeholders and resolve customer service issues.
  • Proficient withcomputers including Microsoft Office.
  • Proven abilityto work effectively with others.

WORKINGCONDITIONS:

Physical Demands

  • Regularlyrequired to stand/sit, talk/hear, use hands/fingers to operate a computer andtelephone, stoop, and kneel.
  • Prolongedexposure to computer screens.

Work Environment

  • Office environment(95%), field environment (5%).
  • On call 24/7.
  • May be requiredto work weekends and outside of regular office hours.
