At Shoreline Orthopaedics, our radiology team works directly alongside fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, PM&R specialists, podiatrists, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional musculoskeletal care. ABOUT THE POSITION

Shoreline Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technician – C-Arm to join our Radiology team.


In this role, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic imaging to assist physicians in evaluating musculoskeletal conditions and performing in-office procedures. Working closely with orthopedic specialists, you'll help provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care while supporting both diagnostic and procedural services in a fast-paced orthopedic practice.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning, radiation safety, and shielding techniques.
  • Operate C-arm fluoroscopy during in-office procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and procedural equipment.
  • Provide C-arm fluoroscopic imaging support during outpatient surgical procedures at Shoreline's Westpark Surgery Center while maintaining sterile technique and radiation safety standards
  • Maintain imaging equipment and procedure rooms while following infection prevention and quality control standards.
  • Ensure compliance with imaging protocols, radiation safety regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Manage digital imaging, documentation, and image transfer across internal and external systems.
  • Become proficient with all imaging and procedural software systems used throughout the practice.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures and additional patient care responsibilities as needed.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient environment for patients and teammates.
Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • ARRT registered or registry eligible with required continuing education
  • Demonstrated competency in C-arm operation and fluoroscopic imaging
  • Experience with sterile field setup and procedural environments preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Schedule flexibility Monday through Friday 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM, occasional Saturday’s 7:30-12:30 pm
  • Ability to safely work with radiation-producing equipment, specialty orthopedic equipment, and appropriate personal protective equipment
