The Shopper Marketing Manager develops and executes shopper marketing strategies that drive conversion, household penetration, and basket size across Duke Cannonโs most strategicย customers: Mass (Target, Walmart), Club, and E-commerce (Amazon, retailer.com). This role translates brand strategy into customer-specific in-store and digital experiences โ from end-cap displays to A+ Amazon content โ partnering closely with Sales, Brand, Creative, and Operations to win the shelf and grow the business at retail.ย
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:ย
Shopperย Strategy & Annual Planningย
Develop annual shopper marketing plans aligned to brand, sales, and categoryย objectivesย across Mass, Club and E-commerce/Amazon.ย
Partner with Sales account leads to align shopper activation calendars to key retailer moments (Fatherโs Day, back-to-school, holiday,ย New year/New you).ย
Program Development & Executionย
Lead end-to-end execution of shopper programs including, but not limited to,ย sampling, in-aisle signage, and POP.ย
Initiates &ย Optimizesย the creative forย digital shelf:ย PDP content, A+ / Premium A+ย content,ย brand storeย content, etc.ย Collaborating with the marketplace specialist to deploy assets.ย ย
Budget & Vendor Managementย
Own the shopper marketing budget across assigned channels, including forecasting, accruals, invoice management, quarterlyย reconciliationย and work with sales to haveย lineย ofย sightย to Vendor income.ย ย
Manage external vendors (sampling partners, retailer mediaย agency, etc.) with clear scopes, timelines, and performance expectations.ย
Insights & Performanceย
Define program KPIs (incremental lift, ROAS, share gain, velocity, repeat rate) and lead post-program performance reviews.ย
Cross-Functional Leadershipย
Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Trade,ย Salesย Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure programs are strategic, on-brand, and operationallyย feasible.ย
QUALIFICATIONS:ย
Requiredย
Working knowledge of retailer media networks, media KPIโs,ย in-store programming production cycles, and digital shelf optimization.ย
Preferredย
Work Environment & Physical Requirementsย
Travel ofย approximately 15โ20% to retailer headquarters (Minneapolis, Bentonville, Seattle), store visits, and industry events.ย

SALARY AND BENEFITSย
