Marketing Operations Manager

Kitsch LLC

Los Angeles, CA โ€ข On-site, Remote

Full-time

Job description

About Kitsch
We're a certified female- and minority-owned global beauty brand. What started as hair ties sold door-to-door is now in 32,000+ retailers across 92 countries - no outside capital, just hustle and good product. We make everyday essentials that make you feel exceptional.
The Role
Marketing is our engine. Right now, it's running on heroics. This role is how it starts running on rhythm.
You'll be the operating backbone of the marketing team - half marketing ops, half chief of staff. You'll build the systems, own the numbers, and become a true force multiplier to our marketing leader. If a clean dashboard and an on-time launch give you a little thrill, keep reading.
Location: Remote - open to candidates based in the US or LATAM.
What You'll Do
  • Build a real operating cadence - weekly stand-ups, monthly reviews, quarterly planning - so the team runs on rhythm, not chaos
  • Build and own the dashboard leadership actually uses: CAC, ROAS, LTV, repeat-purchase rate
  • Own the launch calendar and keep every team ready - creative, e-commerce, retail, social - so nothing slips
  • Run quarterly planning, track OKRs, and keep decisions moving to closure
  • Manage the marketing budget, POs, and key vendor relationships
  • Prep leadership meetings, capture decisions, and drive follow-through
  • Find the recurring friction points and turn them into documented playbooks
  • Connect marketing tightly with product, e-commerce, retail, and ops
What You Bring
  • 4-6 years in marketing ops, growth/biz ops, or a chief-of-staff role - ideally consumer, DTC, beauty, or CPG
  • Hands-on experience with a modern martech stack: email/CRM (like Klaviyo), an e-commerce platform (like Shopify), and analytics/attribution tools
  • Strong spreadsheet and dashboarding skills - you build models and reports without hand-holding
  • Comfortable in project management tools (Asana, monday, Trello) - and in the discipline behind them
  • A track record of running complex, cross-functional projects or launches from start to finish

Bonus points for:
  • Beauty, hair, or CPG experience
  • Omnichannel exposure across DTC and retail (Target, Ulta, Amazon, TikTok Shop)
  • SQL, GA4, or a BI/attribution tool like Looker or Northbeam
  • Experience scaling ops inside a fast-growth, founder-led brand
