We are seeking an Ecommerce Manager to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities

Ecommerce Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with overall business and marketing objectives.
  • Set clear KPIs and benchmarks for sales, traffic, conversion, and retention across DTC channels.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the ecommerce landscape.
  • Plan and execute promotional calendars, including product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and creative teams to align on product strategy, messaging, and go-to-market plans.

Website & Platform Management

  • Oversee end-to-end management of the Shopify storefront and connected sales channels, including Instagram Shopping, TikTok Shop, and other social commerce platforms.
  • Ensure website and social commerce experiences are optimized for user journey, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rates.
  • Manage content updates, product listings, images, and copy to maintain brand consistency and accurate representation of inventory.
  • Collaborate with developers and design teams to implement site enhancements, A/B tests, and UX improvements.

Traffic & Sales Analytics

  • Monitor ecommerce performance metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and overall revenue.
  • Analyze sales performance by product, category, promotions and channel to identify growth opportunities.
  • Produce regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, product assortments, and promotional strategies.

Email Marketing & Retention

  • Lead lifecycle and retention marketing strategies, including email list acquisition, email campaigns, flows, and loyalty programs.
  • Segment audiences based on behavior, preferences, and purchase history to drive personalized engagement.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion) and continuously optimize content, timing, and targeting.
  • Develop strategies to increase repeat purchase rates, average order value, and long-term customer lifetime value.

Promotions & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute promotions, flash sales, GWP and marketing campaigns across ecommerce and social commerce channels.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure campaign assets, copy, and visuals are delivered on time and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies in real time to meet KPIs and maximize ROI.

Emerging Channels & Growth Initiatives

  • Identify and test new digital sales channels, social commerce opportunities, and emerging ecommerce technologies.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships, affiliate programs, and integrations to expand reach and revenue.
  • Stay updated on ecommerce trends, tools, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of ecommerce experience, preferably within beauty, skincare, CPG, or DTC brands
  • Strong experience managing Shopify storefronts and ecommerce platforms
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting tools, Claude and dashboards
  • Experience managing digital promotions, product launches, and campaign calendars
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and customer journey optimization
  • Experience with social commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping, etc.) preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
