Position Summary

The Warehouse Production Associate is responsible for safely assembling, processing, repairing, packaging, and shipping products within our distribution facility. This role supports daily warehouse operations through inventory management, quality control, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, comfortable with technology, and willing to learn new processes and equipment.
Core Responsibilities

Production & Disassembly
· Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
· Disassemble, repair, refurbish, and process products according to company standards.
· Blend, sort, or prepare materials by brand, category, or product type.
· Disassemble and reassemble large product panels and components as needed.
Inventory Management

· Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and product condition.
· Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
· Perform routine inventory counts and assist with audits.
· Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
Quality Control

· Inspect products and materials for defects, damage, or missing components.
· Test product functionality and replace missing or defective parts.
· Sand, repair, and repaint faded or rusted panels when necessary.
· Maintain quality standards by removing or correcting non-conforming products.
Order Fulfillment & Shipping

· Stage and transport products for customer orders.
· Efficiently package finished goods into boxes or bags for shipment.
· Apply labels, barcodes, and shipping documentation accurately.
· Weigh, wrap, and prepare pallets for carrier pickup.
· Load and unload trucks and carrier vehicles safely.
Safety & Facility Maintenance

· Follow all company safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications & Skills

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
· Ability to regularly lift, move, or carry materials weighing on average 50-75 pounds.
Equipment & Mechanical Aptitude
· Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or other Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) is preferred, but training is available.
· Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how products and components function.
· Willingness to learn product repair, assembly, and refurbishment processes.
Technology Skills
· Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners, label printers, tablets, and warehouse software.
· Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including platforms such as Shopify, is a plus.
Professional Skills
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to identify defects, missing parts, and equipment issues.
· Dependable work ethic and ability to meet daily productivity goals.
· Adaptability to work with a large and diverse inventory consisting of thousands of product variations.

Typical Working Conditions
