About the role
The Website Operations Manager plays a key role on the Digital team, owning the day-to-day execution of a best-in-class e-commerce experience across our B2B and B2C channels. This role is deeply embedded in a marketing- and sales-driven organization, partnering closely to bring campaigns, product launches, and revenue-driving initiatives to life on site.
While focused on website operations and content management, this individual will collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches, marketing campaigns, and digitally enabled learning and education experiences. This role requires a highly collaborative, detail-oriented problem solver who can translate business priorities into seamless online experiences. This position is a Hybrid position working out of our San Ramon office Tuesday - Thursday and remotely Mondays and Fridays. *Please note this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own day-to-day website operations, ensuring a high-quality, performant, and conversion-optimized user experience
  • Plan and execute site updates, product launches, and content releases in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience teams
  • Manage onsite content, navigation, and merchandising to support campaigns, promotions, and business priorities
  • Maintain and optimize SEO foundations, including metadata, structured data, and site architecture to improve search visibility
  • Execute and support Shopify theme updates, feature enhancements, and content changes
  • Manage promotional setup and teardown, including campaigns, landing pages, and time-bound content
  • Extend Shopify capabilities using metafields, storefront APIs, and automation tools (e.g., Shopify Flows)
  • Partner with engineering and digital teams to improve site speed, scalability, and overall performance
  • Evaluate and manage third-party apps and integrations to support marketing and digital initiatives
  • Lead QA and user acceptance testing for site updates, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and a seamless user experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, maintaining high uptime and performance standards
  • Create and maintain clear documentation in Confluence for processes, releases, and site configurations
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay current on eCommerce trends, Shopify capabilities, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the site

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Certification in Google Platform a plus
  • 2-5 years of experience managing e-commerce websites, ideally on Shopify
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify themes, content management, and site operations
  • Strong understanding of UX and conversion optimization, including A/B testing
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and performance tracking tools
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS, with an understanding of front-end limitations
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, payment gateways, and ecommerce ecosystems
  • Experience managing third-party apps and tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
  • Willingness to support key launches outside normal business hours
  • Quick learner, comfortable adopting new tools and technologies

Salary: $105k - $115k, plus yearly bonus, award units and comprehensive benefits package
