Shop Help - General LaborHere at Don’s Rental & The Party Peddler, we take pride in offering the best selection we can at reasonable prices. We’ve been serving the St. Helens, Scappoose, and South Columbia County area since 1967.
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing reliable Shop Helper to join our team!Requirements
  • Knowledge of hand tools.
  • Must have stellar customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Knowledge of home and garden equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Willing to work weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and self-motivated.
  • Must complete and pass Insight testing.
Job Duties
  • Provide customer service to clients and customers.
  • Light cleaning and maintenance of equipment, including but not limited to checking oil, cleaning air filters, checking fuel, replacing spark plugs, and greasing rental equipment.
  • Enter rental contract information into a computer program.
  • Set up and schedule U-Haul rentals.
  • Provide general clean-up and maintenance of rental supplies.
  • Pick-up and delivery of rental equipment.
  • Lifting at least 50 lbs.
  • Restock inventory as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Schedule
  • Full-time, schedule to be determined.
Rate of Pay
  • $18.00 per hour.
