Position: Shop Structural Fitter

We are uniquely positioned to provide the people, ideas, equipment, and facilities to carry out an organized plan for exploration and production activities, literally " from the cradle to grave." The core of Allison Marine is its skilled craftsmen and experienced supervisors who have proven their ability to perform high quality work and deliver it on time.
Fabrication Shop Location: Amelia, La.
Job Responsibilities
  • A member of the fabrication team reporting to Allison Shop Supervisor.
  • Cut, Cope, and Fit Structural Pipe and Beam.
  • Layout and Fit Stairways from channel and pipe.
  • Layout and Fit Handrail panels, ladders, and access platforms.
  • Cuts with a hand torch and is capable of assembling all types of structural packages, including pipe supports, handrails, cage ladders, skids made of beam and pipe, and stairways.

  • Prior Structural Fabrication experience required.
  • Must have own tools. (Grinders, Squares, etc.)
  • Experience using safe work habits.

Candidates will be required to pass:
  • Written Fitter Assessment
  • Hands on Fitter Test
