Job description

Job Title: Shop Technician

Who we are:

At Ultimate Adventure Supply, we're all about helping people get outside and make the most of their adventures. We specialize in overlanding, camping, and vehicle gear, from rooftop tents and truck accessories to power systems and other outdoor equipment.

We're a veteran-owned business with a showroom and shop in Festus, MO, where we sell, install, ship, and receive a wide variety of outdoor and vehicle products.

If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and learning new things, we'd love to have you join our team as a Shop Technician!

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and ready to jump in wherever needed. This is an entry-level position, so no previous shop or installation experience is required. If you're willing to learn and comfortable with physical, hands-on work, we'll teach you what you need to know.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with vehicle and overlanding accessory installations

  • Load, unload, and move large, heavy, and bulky products

  • Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing orders

  • Organize products, inventory, and storage areas

  • Operate a forklift and other shop equipment

  • Help customers and team members load and unload products

  • Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized

  • Assist with general shop maintenance and other tasks as needed

  • Work both inside and outside depending on the job

Requirements:

  • Heavy lifting is required. Must be comfortable regularly lifting and moving large, heavy, and bulky items

  • Must be comfortable with physical, hands-on work

  • Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions

  • No previous shop or installation experience required

  • Experience with basic hand and power tools is a plus, but we're willing to train

  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required

  • Must be dependable, show up on time, and be ready to work

  • Must be able to follow instructions and work well with a team

Pay: $15–$18/hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (20-40 hours per week)

Location: Festus, MO

Store hours and schedule:

(Your schedule will fall within the following hours, with Saturday availability preferred)

  • Monday–Friday: 11am–7pm

  • Saturday: 10am–6pm

  • Sunday (Closed)
