Your Role in Safety & Service:

Requirements:
Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must legally be able to possess a firearm under 18 U.S. Code ยง 922(g).
Pass a pre-employment medical exam (includes blood lead/zinc, hearing test)
Job Duties:
- Observes public shooting and ensures a safe and family-friendly range experience for all customers.
- Provides excellent and courteous customer service. Performs daily maintenance tasks to include emptying trash cans, sweeping brass, and assisting in the care of landscape and other facility maintenance/custodial duties.
- Assists range staff in set-up and preparation of the ranges, introductory shooting programs, shooting competitions, and other shooting sports activities throughout the season.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
The candidate must have exceptional customer service and communication skills and have the ability to interact and work with a diverse variety of customers, user groups, and employees. The candidate must have a safety mindset and be prepared to enforce range safety rules equally at all times.
Selective Preference(s):
The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Position requires possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment.
A level 1 fingerprint clearance card is required. Must be able to legally possess a firearm in accordance with 18 U.S. Code ยง 922(g). Employment is contingent upon completion of a post-offer medical/physical examination and the agency's ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions. Medical/Physical examination will include baseline blood lead and zinc levels and a baseline hearing test, all of which will be monitored on an annual basis.
