Position Summary...What you'll do...
Associate Merchant, Women's Shoes Relocation Required to Bentonville, AR. This role is onsite 5 days a week. As an Associate Merchant, you’ll be a key driver in shaping the future of the Women’s Shoes- Modern & Trend Brands business, serving as both a customer advocate and strategic business leader. You’ll identify emerging trends, build compelling assortments, and bring innovative products and experiences to life across stores and eCommerce channels. Combining creativity with data-driven decision making, you’ll leverage the scale, partnerships, and reach of the Walmart ecosystem to transform the category, drive growth, and make an impact for millions of customers and families every day. 

About the Team: 
Manage a big business and be a true subject matter expert in your category. Strategize and choose the assortment in stores and online 
What you'll do:
  • Setting the category strategy: you’ll establish strategy, manage budgets to drive profitable growth, and use vision and creativity to impact the customer experience 
  • Building relationships: you’ll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, vendors, business partners and other Associate Merchants 
  • Making decisions: you’ll make decisions about nearly every aspect of your products including replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing 
  • Designing, developing, and launching products: you’ll work with our Designers, Product Development and Sourcing teams to create new products for Private Brands. You will work with National Brand suppliers to launch new brands and develop assortments.
  • Manage a big business and be a true subject matter expert in your category. 
  • Strategize and choose the assortment in stores and online  
  • Knowing your category: you’ll know your customers and supplier better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for your business

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
