JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour plus $1.45 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Shift Weekend: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday - Sunday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

  • Training period require working Monday through Friday 6a - 6p and could last up to 6 weeks approximately 
  • Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
  • May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
  • Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
  • Understand and carry out verbal instructions
  • Read and carry out simple written instructions
  • Read work orders, labels, and schedules
  • Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
  • Make fraction and decimal conversions
  • Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Preferably with experience in manufacturing
  • Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
