The Assistant Manager is a management role that will not only sell our shoes to customers but also manage and lead the sales team. This role is for the person that is looking for a career with great job growth in a company that values internally promoting our employees.

What you will do:

  • Greet our customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
  • Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
  • Ring up sales in computer, take cash/run credit cards/do discounts, etc.
  • Help re-stock the sales floor.
  • Keep things neat and clean in the store.
  • Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the store sales team.
  • Assist with coaching and discipline of the store sales team.
  • Lead the rest of the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
  • Prepare deposit and make deposits at the bank.
  • Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.

What you need:
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and have personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
  • Want to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
  • Willing to open/close the store, knowing that there may be times that you are alone in the store.
  • Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds.
