Job description

Elevate your career as a Cath Lab RN, providing exceptional cardiovascular care to adult patients while working alongside a dedicated clinical team. This contract opportunity offers day shifts for experienced nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment with a focus on advanced interventional procedures.
Schedule & Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, 8-hour shifts
  • Call required (unit schedules all shifts)
  • No block schedule; flexibility required to meet operational demands
  • Weekends required as needed
  • Orientation dates available: 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, or 10/19 (select one)
  • Please note: No time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live
Key Qualifications:
  • Active RN license (Tennessee or multistate) at the time of application
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • Prior travel nursing background required
  • Experience with Cerner and Merge EMRs preferred
  • Strong clinical competency in working with advanced equipment: Impella, Pacer, ICD Implant, Shockwave, and Penumbra
  • Effective communication skills and adaptability in a team-driven environment
Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care for adult cardiac patients, including those with complex interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing vents and assisting with devices such as Impella and ICD implants
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and policies, ensuring a high standard of patient care at all times
  • Accurately document in Cerner/Merge EMRs

$2,396 - $2,534/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
