Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Customer Care's role is to provide excellent customer service and logistical support for our program

customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Tasks listed are not meant to be all-encompassing:

Run Load for Restock program replenishments

Pick, pack, and deliver material to customers

Accurately fill orders from shelf inventory or daily receipts

Put material away in customer facilities (crib, POU, vending machines)

Perform inventory counts; identify, and record discrepancies in both customer and warehouse facilities

Work with Team Leaders and Customer Service to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

Follow up on quotes, orders, test tools, and requests for information and expedited deliveries, etc.

Facilitate and complete return processes

Facilitate regrinds or repairs

Ensure all inventory stocking requirements are documented in appropriate databases (BC, i3, or

vending software)

Work with customers to follow Add-Change-Delete processes

Ensure all items are barcoded/labeled

Report shipment discrepancies and quality events to mangers or Customer Service

Maintain clean and safe work environments in and around Shively equipment within customer sites

Document and report all Continuous Improvement activities in CRM

Ensure all metrics and Key Performance Indicators are met according to the customers' Scope of Work

Report near misses and incidents and cooperate with investigations

Demonstrate and exemplify the Shively Bros. Inc. Core Values

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to use ERP software
  • Ability to multitask
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive at least 4 hours at a time
  • Ability to obtain CDL (if required) and make deliveries

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer
  • Ability to work while standing or walking for entire shifts except for scheduled breaks
  • Must be able to access, navigate, and work within a manufacturing facility that may or may not be

temperature controlled

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout shifts
