Compensation: $25.47 per hour 

Shift: 1st shift – overtime as needed.

Position SummaryWhile reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for performing tasks that are necessary to provide high quality, efficient, and timely shipments out of our Conyers, GA facility. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced, repetitive, and detail orientated environment. Previous Shipping experience required. Key Responsibilities
  • Time will be split 50/50 between loading/unloading and Administrative Shipping duties.
  • Checks and prepares order materials for shipping.
  • Receive goods and materials, report supplier discrepancies.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records and order forms.
  • Create shipping labels and documentation for outbound products including international shipments.
  • Setup and confirm outbounds in customer portals.
  • Setup inbound loads.
  • Invoicing of shipped orders
  • Update Shipping board and communicate daily LTL priorities to the rest of the shipping team.
  • Data entry into inventory and warehouse management systems
  • Perform daily cycle count activities, inventory audits, and prepare inventory reports.
  • Verifies clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
  • FIFO based Inventory stock maintenance (packaging supplies, finished goods, raw materials)
  • Housekeeping duties in warehouse
  • Overtime required at times
  • Mandatory 1 Saturday per month 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
  • Proficiency in operating electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with bar code scanning and RF scanner technology.
  • Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and order fulfillment processes.
