Purpose
This role handles all incoming and outgoing deliveries from the facility ensuring efficient and effective flow to meet business objectives.
Key Missions
  • Manages in-coming and out-going order processing and documentation, including generating delivery or shipping documents
  • Receives or inspects goods and verifying items against the shipment record
  • Gathers, verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method
  • Records received and shipped items
  • Stages materials in appropriate Warehouse location
  • Assignd INS numbers for resale and non-resale materials
  • Maintains consumables inventory
  • Ensures all work conforms to Security Standards, Operational Systems and Procedures and Regulations, including ISO 91, PCI, and Customer specifications and requirements
  • Works with other employees and departments to resolve shipping and receiving matters
  • Respects and applies Health and Safety rules to ensure a safe working environment
  • Holds experience and knowmedge with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the relevant field
  • Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines or on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish the functions and goals of the job
  • Works under general supervision
  • Reports to a supervisor or manager
  • Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials
