POSITION: SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR

JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME EVENINGS

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for our evening shift. This role is responsible for verifying finished product pallets, confirming labeling and shipping documentation, staging orders, and ensuring the correct product is loaded onto the correct outbound trucks.
This position works closely with the Warehouse & Shipping Manager, Logistics Coordinator, and Production teams, playing a critical role in keeping our outgoing shipments accurate, organized, and on schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Verify finished goods pallets for correct SKU, quantity, lot/date codes, and customer order requirements
  • Confirm pallets meet company standards, including stack patterns, height limits, stretch wrap/strapping, labeling, and corner boards as required
  • Review labels and shipping paperwork (BOLs, customer orders, POs, item counts, and lot/date codes) to prevent mis-shipments
  • Stage completed pallets in the correct shipping lanes or dock doors while maintaining an organized staging area
  • Operate a forklift to move, stage, and load finished goods safely and efficiently
  • Load outbound trucks in the correct sequence and confirm the correct pallets are loaded onto the proper trailer
  • Perform final load verification prior to departure, confirming pallet counts, labels, product condition, and trailer seals when applicable
  • Use scanners, WMS systems, or shipping logs to track pallet movement and outbound shipments
  • Communicate shipment priorities, delays, and issues with Production, QA, and Shipping/Receiving teams
  • Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged product, labeling errors, and other shipment discrepancies
  • Follow GMPs, food safety requirements, and warehouse safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized dock and work area
  • Assist with basic inventory control tasks such as product tracking and location verification
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current forklift certification (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow load plans and shipping documentation
  • Ability to lift to 75 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the shift
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the evening shift, with overtime or weekend work as needed
  • Comfortable working around temperature-controlled or cold products
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or order fulfillment
  • Experience with pallet labeling, load verification, and preventing mis-shipments
  • Familiarity with scanners, WMS, or ERP systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

SCHEDULE
  • Shift: 4pm - 12am
  • Days: Monday - Friday + OT/weekends as needed
