We're looking for a Material Handler Lead who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading by example.

What You'll Do
As a Material Handler Lead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation while supporting and guiding a team of material handlers.
Leadership & Team Support
✅ Lead and support daily warehouse and material handling activities
✅ Train, coach, and assist team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
✅ Foster a positive, team-focused culture built on accountability and continuous improvement
✅ Coordinate daily priorities to keep production running smoothly
Inventory & Material Control
✅ Ensure timely movement of materials to production areas
✅ Support inventory control activities, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives
✅ Assist with receiving, warehousing, shipping, and product identification processes
✅ Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages
✅ Maintain proper storage, traceability, and organization of materials
Safety & Continuous Improvement
✅ Promote a safe work environment and compliance with all safety procedures
✅ Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
✅ Identify opportunities to improve material flow, efficiency, and workplace organization
✅ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
Ability to wear required PPE and operate material handling equipment safely
What We're Looking For:
-High school diploma or GED
-Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or manufacturing operations
-Forklift experience and ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
-Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
-Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior leadership experience
-Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems
-Manufacturing experience in a heavy equipment, industrial, or fabrication environment
-Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting processes
