Job description

Ground Force/Mega Worldwide of Albuquerque has an amazing opportunity for a skilled Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Qualified candidates will be driven, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic. To be successful, you must be able to multitask, prioritize, self-manage time efficiently, problem solve and be a self-starter. Experience in a shipping/receiving department is preferred. Starting Wage $17-$21/hour depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process and ship parts orders and finished products along with necessary documentation.
  • Receive, inspect, store, issue, and distribute materials and parts, while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Load, unload, move, and store materials according to shipping documents, delivery schedules, or supervisor instructions.
  • Perform shipping and receiving transactions, including data entry, order verification, receiving inspections, bin assignments, and shipment documentation.
  • Ensure outbound orders are accurate, complete, and shipped on time to meet customer deadlines.
  • Organize inventory using proper storage methods, stock rotation, identification, and environmental considerations.
  • Process material returns and assist with the disposal of supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, skid-steer, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while following all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with production, purchasing, and other departments to support daily operations.
  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–6 months of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet shipping deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, shipping documents, and safety procedures.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, noise, and other warehouse conditions.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and safely move heavier materials using appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other lifting devices while following all safety regulations.
